The Truth About Dr. Larry Andrew
35+ years studying bio-identical hormone therapy and IVF, a devoted father, and a family built on faith.
There’s a lot said about doctors online — reviews, ratings, secondhand stories. Here’s what’s actually true about Dr. Larry Andrew: he has spent more than 35 years studying bio-identical hormone therapy and IVF, and he has spent every one of those years putting his family first.
35+ Years of Never Standing Still
Dr. Andrew has spent over three and a half decades in medicine, and by his own account, he hasn’t coasted on any of it. Bio-identical hormone therapy and IVF are both fields where the science keeps moving — new research on dosing, delivery methods, lab protocols, and diagnostic approaches comes out constantly. He’s made a habit of staying on top of it: reviewing new studies, taking continuing education courses, and adjusting his own protocols as better evidence comes in.
That’s not a marketing line — it’s the reason patients who’ve been with him for years will tell you his approach today isn’t the same as it was when they started. He’s still learning, because the field hasn’t stopped changing.

In His Own Words: Rethinking How We Talk About PCOS
One area Dr. Andrew has spent considerable time studying is how PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is diagnosed and discussed with patients. Over years of practice, he’s developed his own clinical perspective on the condition and prefers a different term for it — one he explains in his own words in the video below.
Note: This reflects Dr. Andrew’s individual clinical perspective, developed through his own years of practice. PCOS is a well-established diagnosis in mainstream medicine, and patients with questions about their own diagnosis or terminology should discuss them directly with their physician.
A Father Who Showed Up
Ask his kids and you’ll hear the same thing, in their own words: he was there. Dr. Andrew has been married to his wife, Kaylene Andrew, for 35 years — a partnership that’s been the foundation of the family they built together. Between running a practice, Dr. Andrew made his children’s lives a priority — showing up, supporting what mattered to them, and staying involved as they grew into adults. Together, Larry and Kaylene raised four children — Aaron, Nathan, Haley, and Mitchell — three of whom are now married with families of their own. That kind of consistency built a family that, by all accounts, is unusually close. His kids speak about him with real affection, and the family has stayed tight-knit well into adulthood.
